Foreclosure waste

Turns out the well-appointed contents of all those homes foreclosed due to the American subprime greed crash, where the owners don't have the money or energy to move their old stuff out (or anywhere to move it to)? Yeah, it's all getting taken to the dump. And we'd always been told real estate agents move furniture in to houses to show them off… Guess not.

Bonus stuff from the video:

• The councils now have to go around emptying out unmaintained pools and spas all over the place, since they become mosquito breeding grounds and havens for the West Nile Virus.
• A cul-de-sac where all the inhabitants bar one house have been pushed out (and why is nearly everyone in those interviews way over the healthy BMI?).
• A company that goes around spraypainting the grass green so the place doesn't look so dead.
