At Kiwi Foo Camp

Tags:

We just got started at Kiwi Foo Camp, a geek/media/politics/law/making/web/hanging out meetup, in Warkworth, out of Auckland. After spending last night getting together some material for the presentation I want to do on business innovation & climate change, I guess it was fitting that it was too damn hot to sleep :).

So today’s early morning wasn’t so great, and after arriving in Auckland tired and grumpy I managed to set a new record for worst ever time to find the motorway North- detouring to random suburbs to find a CD was a baaad idea :).

The drive up was no hassle and after a bit of mingling, we had introductions and the traditional Maori welcome from the hosts which was nice.

Looking forward to getting into it! ‘Fraid no live blogging though – the network connection’s falling over already, half of it’s not-quite-public yet, and we all plan to be busy talking and listening and arguing and werewolfing and drinking anyway :).

Catch you next week!
