Sarah & Tim's 30th birthday party

So, I might have caught up with trip blogging, but I immediately got behind on life blogging :).

Here’s some photos from Sarah & Tim’s 30th birthday party late last month.

Dinner at Sakura beforehand

A few of us had dinner at a Japanese restaurant, Sakura. Good nigiri and lots of sake options :).

Drinks at Vintage

And then it was down to Vintage on Taranaki St for drinks with everyone after.

We love the cocktail list (though it’s not quite as cool as it was when they first opened – used to be better organised and a bit longer), they’ve got lots of great Asian flavours in there and a lot of original stuff. I recommend the Red Lotus. Love the walls too :).

Sadly, we didn’t get Meg & Sarah’s dance-off on tape ;).

After Vintage we went to Vespa where I had a fantastic Apple Pie cocktail. People played a little bit of pool and when Matt and I were playing some randoms challenged us to a game, and despite the usual “boyfriend who plays pool hardcore style” shizzle we managed to kick their ass – I thank the cocktail for setting me “on” :).

A good time was had by all :).
